Forms of advertising have changed these days. Gone are the days when companies have to be dependent upon the traditional medium of advertising like newspaper, radio, TV etc. Now things have changed. The new age customer is spending a lot of his/her quality time over the Internet. So most of the good companies have launched their websites and these companies are doing online advertisement and majority of them through the Google Adword.

Nowadays, Google Adword is the most effective tool of the online advertising. It publishes ads in six formats that are text ads, image ads, animated ads, video ads, mobile ads and local business ads. You can create attractive ads and choose keywords. The keywords should be words or phrases related to your business. When the Internet users search some products or services on the Google using one of your keywords, your ads may appear next to the search results. This is the main advantage with Google Ads that you are advertising to the people who are already interested in you.

Also, when people see your ad on the Google, they can simply click to make a purchase or learn more about you. So, you don’t even need your webpage to get started. This kind of advertisement is very profitable these days because the most famous search engine on the earth is working for you. Also, millions of high quality websites, news pages and blogs are the partners of Google to display the Google Adword. You can imagine the reach of your ad.

Now, the most beneficial aspect of the Google Adword is its pricing. There is no need of any minimum spending requirement. You can set a daily budget for each click on your ad. You have to pay only if someone clicks your advertisement and you don’t need to pay when your ad is displayed. Now with AdWords you can target your ads to appear only in specific regional and local areas also.

Moreover, Google Adword is providing certain advantages to you like, you are reaching to the appropriate customers, you have full control over your ad budget, you can easily create and edit your ads and most importantly you can see your ads on Google within minutes of creating them. So, these benefits have made Google Adword famous these days and almost all famous websites are utilizing its services.

Using Google Adwords to Make Money

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 20-02-2009

Patrick Riley asked:

Well I will start by explaining how Google Adwords works. Its a Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising program where you pay each time someone clicks on your ad and travels to your site. The ads are shown 2 different places either in the Google search results or on other members sites (ill get into that in another post).

How much you pay for each click is determined on how popular your keywords are on Google and how bad other people want the same keywords. Its done on a bidding system, the person willing to pay the most gets the advertising spot with those keywords.

The second half of this money making scheme is the products. There is a site called Paydotcom.com who has a database of merchants digital products that will pay you a commission to sell.

Its simple to sign up for this site and easy to use. There is a marketplace to browse to find the top selling products, or they are also listed by category and other specs. Once you choose an item that you think will sell (do research on the demand of the product first) it will give you a link that you can copy into the browser address bar. This address is unique to you and has built in tracking scripts to track your sales (your paycheck).

Ok lets tie Adwords and Paydotcom.com together. Now that you know what product you will be selling you can create an ad to help sell it. When creating the ad I found that putting the price in the ad itself kept the money spent on ad clicks down, because only serious people were clicking the link. Now you have to choose keywords to bid on. The more refined the keywords the better. They will have a better success at the target market than broad terms. For example instead of using the term “movies”, use “new release movie downloads”. As for the price per click….. when your first starting out with a new product don’t bid to high on keywords just in case you get 100 clicks that day and you bid for $1.00 a click and then no one buys it.. lol.. that would ****. Your out $100!!!

DON’T BID MORE THEN $0.10 per click!!!!

Everything from this point on will run itself. Set your daily and monthly budget and there ya go. Play around with different wording on the ads and see what works best for the product.

Paydotcom.com pays commissions through Paypal and payout dates are different from product to product. The only downside of this whole scheme is Adwords does not accept Paypal for payments so you have to deposit the Paypal money into your bank account then pay for the ads with the credit card.

Well…. Thats about all I have to say on this topic.. I hope it will help ya out in Making money online.

Google Adwords Software

Phillip Booker asked:

Is Google Adwords still a profitable exercise?

If you can’t make it work you will be lacking two important strategies. The first of those strategies is finding a niche, this in itself is a difficult exercise. You may find searching for a niche could take weeks and weeks of research. But there is an answer.

The basic principle behind finding a niche is to track the keywords for a subject and see how much competition there is. A more time served professional of Google Adwords may not need such a specific requirement as they are able to defeat many other advertisers and rank higher; not necessarily by just bidding higher.

However for a beginner, the lack of competition is an important requirement to ease the burden of succeeding. Of course what Adwords can achieve is that you rank at the top of page one on Google, albeit on the right hand side. Such positioning can receive anything from 5 - 500 clicks a day. Some webmaster work years to get their website into the top 10 of Google and the Adwords system gets you there in 5 minutes.

Ideally if you are starting out you need to progress slowly until you understand the procedure and what to do when you start earning money for the first time. Getting clicks off Google is a relatively easy target to reach, it is what you do with them that counts.

If you do not have a good ’sales page’, then people will be visiting your site and clicking the back button before you know it…

The second factor…

If you do not manage to get above 0.50% for your ‘click-through-rate’; then you will get the infamous ‘Google Slap’. This is where your cheap advertising costs of say $0.16 per click, suddenly is increased to a minimum bid of $4.00 or $10. Your campaign is temporarily paused until you increase your bid. Meaning of course your campaign has effectively ended.

Some may well have noticed that the Google Slap occurs even before a campaign has gone active. This is down to the Google algorithm and their quality score for your intended landing page. As you proceed through setting up an adwords campaign you will have noticed they send their bot crawling to rate your landing page to determine its quality.

Google need to pre-qualify your page to maintain a high standard of quality and keep both their etiquette and respect intact. They cannot have shoddy advertisers selling scam ideas or half baked individuals trying to earn mega bucks from some lame business concept. This improves the likelihood that Google will get respectable advertisers spending millions.

Although this strategy may sound too difficult for many, there is software on the market that can help with all this detail. Google Goggles being the main contender.

If you have a budget to buy software that helps your business plan proceed faster and also keeps Google at bay and earn you respect as an advertiser. Then Google Goggles is the ideal candidate. Its main functions, is to help you find undiscovered niches, and keep down the cost per click by suggesting improvements to your web sales page to give you a good Google quality score. Give it a test drive.

Secret “get Google Adwords for Free” Ebook – Review

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 20-02-2009

David asked:

I recently bought the ebook everyone’s been talking about (called “Get Google Adwords Free”) the other day so I decided to write a review. In a nutshell it was an information packed ebook (125 PAGES) that explained how to achieve and maintain a constant #1 ranking on Google Adwords as well as how to get MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars in “pay per clicks” for a cost of ZERO. Unbelievable I know (continue reading).

What is even more interesting is how the author claims to have brought in over $1 MILLION DOLLARS income yearly using the “secret” in “Get Google Adwords Free”, and on top of that, an unheard of $87 MILLION DOLLARS in FREE Google Adwords advertising.

I must admit hearing bold claims like these definitely got my attention. I wanted to know what he knew about Google Adwords that I didn’t. I have wasted a lot of time and spent lot of money making Google Adwords work for me, and this guy seemed to have me beat. So after reading the sales page TWICE I bought the ebook. I reasoned that since I bought this “Get Google Adwords Free” ebook through CLICKBANK I was protected, as I knew that CLICKBANK would refund my money back if I wanted a refund with no questions asked.

With this peace of mind I was able to systematically read AND critique this man’s “secret” methods. What I discovered in “Get Google Adwords Free” was the detailed methods to achieve exactly what the sales page boasts. If you were to put in action the claimed “secret” that he suggests, you will have achieved free Google adwords advertising (or any other pay per click service out there for that matter). I could have kicked myself for not thinking of this “secret” already. All the methods are completely LEGAL and break NO laws whatsoever. You may laugh, but I feel that soon everyone will be utilizing this “secret” method in one form or another in the very near future.

On a personal note, after actually implementing just a few of the techniques that he suggests I immediately saw a 150% increase in unique visitors to my website and my daily sales tripled that same day. I think the methods in “Get Google Adwords Free” will work for anyone with a 4th grade reading level.

Of course there is a section to where he gives you the opportunity to sell “Get Google Adwords Free”, his ebook. His firm researches that out of 46,000 people surveyed 96% said that, ‘getting Google Adwords free’ was their most sought after information.

The affiliate section of his website is the most impressive section that I have seen in years. Full of any marketing tool that you can think of to help you make money easily. I think he has certainly gone to great lengths to ensure his readers’ success.

I do feel like he could have gotten his point across without a huge hyped up sales page, but I guess I would not have given “Get Google Adwords Free” a second thought if it had not gotten my attention with such huge claims.

All things aside I did learn techniques that I did not know before, and I have been using Google Adwords for some time now. I personally feel that upon reading “Get Google Adwords Free” you will be one more step closer to success than you were before reading it. Even an advanced Google Adwords guru can come away with something I’m sure.

My honest recommendation would be to give it a read, as it comes with a “money back guarantee” anyway, you would have nothing to loose. I personally will be keeping my copy of “Get Google Adwords Free” to save it with my other useful ebooks.

8 Common Mistakes Most People Make With Google Adwords and How to Avoid Them!

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 19-02-2009

Ben Stevens asked:

Most people automatically make these common mistakes until they are told otherwise and they learn how to advertise on Google.

#1 Ad Does Not Match the Keyword

At first I was not sure how people could get their ads to show up with the keyword in the title until I discovered there must be a separate group in Google for each set of keywords. This way you gain instant credibility with your audience and the already think you know the most about what they are looking for.

The only downfall is that this can take some time. Expect to select about 10-20 keywords that have popular phrases associated with them and make the ad groups based on those. This leads me to the second mistake people make…

#2 Too Many Different Keywords in One Ad Group

The keywords and keyword phrases should all be very similar in each ad group that is specific in the title of the ad.

For Example for the keyword “Mutual Funds” you might have corresponding keyword phrases in the group such as:

Best mutual funds

No load mutual funds

Top mutual funds

Compare mutual funds

Best performing mutual funds

#3 No Punctuation Used On Keywords and Phrases

One of the biggest mistakes you could possible make with Google advertising is to not be specific in what kind of traffic you are trying to attract. You want to make your keywords drive highly qualified traffic to your site so you are not paying for worthless clicks. Punctuation around keywords is critical. Here is how the punctuation works.

Broad Match: No punctuation could result in your ad appearing for any of the words in your phrase without having to have any relation at all to your ad.

Phrase Match: Using quotes around your keyword phrases such as “top mutual funds” means that someone could search for “top mutual funds by vanguard” and your ad would still show because your phrase was exactly matched even though a few more words were added.

Exact Match: Using brackets around the keywords or phrases means people would have to look for those exact words in that order otherwise your ad will not appear. Using exact match can cut your bid price by 30% and get your much more highly qualified traffic. The phrase would look like this:

[top mutual funds]

Negative Keywords: These are important to avoid certain words that might contradict what you are trying to accomplish such as “free” when you are selling something. A negative keyword looks like this:

-free

#4 Selecting “All Languages” and “All Countries”

When setting up each Google campaign it is important to select English if that is what your product written in and then select the countries that speak English or a vast majority of the countries population know English. If your product is only available to people living in the US then just select the US.

#5 Taking Visitors Only To the Homepage

If you are promoting a certain product that is on a page inside of your website, you do not want to direct them to just the homepage. If you do, most of your traffic will click out since they did not see what they were looking for in the first few seconds.

#6 No Use of Capitalization

There is a direct correlation between the click through rate and the capitalization used in the ad. Be sure to capitalize the first letter of each word in your ad including the URL.

Another quick tip is to always run two ads per ad group so you can constantly try out new ways to improve the response to your ad.

#7 Bidding For the Top Position

With Google adwords advertising it is more beneficial to not be number one, instead positions three and four are the best. The top position has a high cost and also receives the most irrelevant clicks.

Also the top five positions are also on the top for searches in the network of companies with Google such as Ask.com.

#8 Bidding the Same for the Google Network & the Content Network

I have had great success bidding very low and getting a lot of sales just off the content network so I was not about to just block it completely since I would get so many clicks and low click through rates. I found you can bid separate amounts for the Google network and the content network. So now I was able to bid low for the content network like $.05 per click and much higher to be ranked in the Google search. This has saved me a lot of money in advertising.

Good Luck in your Google Adwords endeavors!

Google Adwords Plus a Squeeze Page Equals Thousands!

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 18-02-2009

Eddie Tyshkevich asked:

Would you love having your website, or affiliate opt-in page on the first pages of every search engine? That would be awesome, right? The beauty of the internet is you could be sleeping while the money is pouring into your bank account.

Well, what I was talking about having your page on the first page, the way you can do this is by using Pay Per Click (PPC from here on out) Advertising.

Everyone online knows that Google Adwords probably has the best PPC Advertising on the internet. One mistake most beginners and newbies do is send traffic directly to their or an affiliate product home page. They’re so anxious to make money so quickly that they make one of the biggest mistakes you can make online. Let me explain…

When you send someone directly to a page, you have one shot to make the sale. On average, 1%, or 1 out of every 100 people, will buy. But when you send them to an opt-in sqeeze page (GREAT squeeze page example at www.secretaffiliateweapon.com), this allows you to follow up with the customer for the rest of your life (or until they unsubscribe). Also, it takes approximatly 7 emails before a customer will buy from you (or affiliate link). The beauty of this though is, that 1% conversion can become closer to a 20% conversion, and that is not uncommon! Some people have even managed to get 40-80% conversion from squeeze pages. Can you imagine getting 1 sale for every 5-10 people who give your their email? That’s amazing

If you’ve always dreamed about making big money online, the best thing you can do is do a little research and start taking small steps in order to get to where you want to be. Thinking and hoping about it wont do anything. Thanks to Google PPC Advertising, it is very easy to make money with Google Adwords.

Learn To Use Google Adwords

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 18-02-2009

Hunter Crowell asked:

If false Internet promises of making you a millionaire within a month for a small investment has currently left you feeling swindled, it is time you rose up and gave yourself a different perspective, give yourself the chance to earn again without feeling cheated. This time Google Adwords will answer it all. Of the many tricks you will have to learn while trying to make money online, you are likely to remember the Google Adwords trick for one simple reason - it works. With Google Adwords, you are likely to make money, for real.

The thing is, most people searching the net for something know exactly what they are looking for. Similarly, if by means of Google Adwords, you choose a phrase or a word that exactly describes or identifies your product; every customer searching for your product will end up seeing your website ad. However you should be careful to only target people that want the information you are providing. You pay for every click so make them count.

So what’s so special about Google Adwords you would ask? And we would say, well, for starters, it lets you connect with people you want and people who want you. How? Quite easy, really. What you will be doing with Google Adwords is you will be choosing a specific list of phrases or words that will be in perfect sync with the product you are selling. As a result, when a customer specifically looking for your product runs a Google search, he/she will immediately find your site and thereby, your product.

But that doesn’t mean you should jump the gun and run out and buy yourself a dozen Google Adwords keywords blindly and hope to make a fortune. Thankfully, it takes more than that to make a hit with the system. Instead of plunging aimlessly, research extensively before making your investment and pin down your keywords wisely.

Begin by making a list of potential keywords or phrases that will work for you. Now, cut down on the number by realistically estimating which of them actually deserve the time and money you are about to put into them. If you are just starting out with Google Adwords, remember to play it safe. Don’t end up choosing a keyword or phrase that will cost you a fortune with every click. This way, you will keep a check on your budget and at the same time, learn a bit more about how the game is played.

Advantage Advertise With Google Adwords

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 18-02-2009

Amirulcyber asked:

Hi friends,

Today I will tell you some of the advantages of using google adwords. There are many advantages advertising using google adwords but today I want to explain one of the advantages.

Low fee advertising cost.

Google adwords offer reasonable advertising cost that can be reached by many people who have products or services to sell.Traditionally if we want to advertise on certain website or blog we have to pay the advertising cost on monthly basis and our ads will be displayed for one month for example on the website or blog. After one month we have to pay again if we want our ads to continue displayed on the website.

However with google adwords there is a little bit different.Google have their on technology that can detect any click on ads.By having this technology,it help google to set advertising cost based on click. Therefore with advertise using google adwords no payment will be made by us until somebody click on our ads. This lower ads cost help many internet marketers to advertise their products or services more frequently, again and again

In order to advertise using google adwords only low activation fee needed to pay by us before we officially can advertise on google and worldwide.Once you pay the activation fee mean that you are on the right track to advertise worldwide. The activation fee $5 only.Actually it based on currency that you use to pay.

Google adwords is very interesting to learn and discuss. For your information there’s no minimum spending requirement which mean the amount you pay for AdWords is up to you. You can, for instance, set a daily budget of five dollars and a maximum cost of ten cents for each click on your ad.

Again I remind you you’re charged only if someone clicks your ad, not when your ad is displayed.Interesting right?

See you at tomorrow article.Thank you.

The Google Adwords Bliss – Profit From it

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 17-02-2009

Shilpi Shilpi Aggarwal asked:

It must, however, be noted that within the same industry, there are competitors that use the same keywords and sell the same products profitably. The problem is therefore not with the Adwords system but with the skill the campaigns are managed.

Google (GOOG) is an exceptional company that has revolutionized the way people search for information online, and gives a great platform for the advertisers to reach their target audience directly. Their pay per click advertising program Google Adwords has an easy interface and any novice can read through it in about a week. However, a professionally managed campaign makes the difference between success and failure. Adwords let’s advertisers of any size advertise to a global audience (as opposed to any other media) and at the best, it helps you exactly measure the success rate.

Many businesses fail in adwords and think Google is eating up their credit card. Think again. Could you afford to advertise in TV? In the newspaper? How many people watching your ad on the TV are actually interested in buying your product? Guess what – every visitor from Google adwords to your website is already a potential customer, because you are bidding for the keywords that are relevant to your business!

The power of Google Adwords doesn’t end there. You can measure exactly where your sales are coming from and how much you are paying for every client acquisition. Whoa! Do your radio, TV, newspaper, or billboard campaigns have that ability? No.

So what’s the trick? Why businesses fail with adwords? Why they think it’s too expensive? The answer lies in the management of the campaigns. Google Adwords is a smart system that does not rank your ad just based on the price you are paying. It rewards relevant and top performing advertisers by charging them less for the top positions! All this to make sure the results are relevant to the audience. That keeps people coming back to Google search and advertisers to reach the target audience.

So next time you think Google adwords is a just a waste of time and money, think again! Your competition is eating up a big chunk of market share managing their adwords correct, using the right keywords and outsmarting the competition. Top 4 Google Adwords Strategies Proven To Generate Profits

Posted by | Posted in Affiliate Marketing | Posted on 17-02-2009

Pawel Reszka asked:

Making money with Google Adwords has become very popular. It’s the new trend that took the Internet by storm. Affiliate marketers are constantly researching new niches, keywords and competition to monetize the traffic from Adwords. Profiting from the “Google Gash” game was much easier just a few years ago. Cost per click keeps going up each and every month. Below I have listed some Adwords strategies that can help affiliate marketers maximize their earnings.

1. Bidding On The Exact Name Of The Product

This method is very effective and can bring substantial profits very quickly. Basically, affiliates can bid on the exact name of the product and profit from other affiliates advertising efforts. When a product is popular there are a lot of people searching for it on Google to find out more information, read reviews, or even bonuses offered by affiliates. If you choose to try this method, you should research other affiliates to see what exactly they are doing and what bonuses they are offering. Next construct a review page of the product and offer a better bonus package. Using this method you are going to pay more per click, because the traffic is highly targeted.

2. Creating Site-Targeted Campaign

With this method you can target the exact pages where you want your ads to appear. Of course the publisher must display Adsense ads on their site. First of all, you need to find websites relevant to the product or service you are selling. Do a search on Google for the keyword phrases that would potentially bring in sales. Next make a list of all the web pages that display Adsense on the first and second page of the search results. This ensures that the website you are going to display ads receives high quality traffic. Next create a “site targeted” campaign targeting the pages you just researched. With this method you could end up paying less than 0.05 per click if your CTR is performing very well.

3. Using Huge Keyword Lists

Using this strategy you must create a big list of relevant keywords for your product or service. The key to making this method work is to find many low searched keywords with little or no competition. Utilizing the method you could get away with paying cents per click instead of dollars. You should get yourself a keyword research tool that will help you find relevant keyword phrases. I highly recommend Keyword Elite software for this project.

4. Monetizing On Big Product Launches

This is probably the easiest way to make money using Google Adwords. Basically, you will need to watch for next big product launches by some of the big marketers. Some of the product launches generate a ton of searches on Google on the day of the launch. Once you spot one, you should bid only on the name of the product on that exact date. You could also give away some bonuses to increase your sales. This method can bring quick and easy profits due to the fact that there is almost no competition on the date of the launch.

The above strategies are just some of the most popular ways to easily monetize on the traffic from Google Adwords. You should always monitor your CTR (click through ratio), Cost Per Click, and conversions.
